Welcome to my music world
About me
Laura was born on September 29, 2009 in Budapest. Laura was already playing the piano and singing at the age of 3-4. She started composing at the age of seven, which were initially shorter melodies. She wrote her first piano piece at the age of ten, with which she immediately won two world competitions as a young composer (Toronto and Milan). She has now written more than 40 piano pieces and several organ works. She has won nearly 50 world music competitions as a composer. The young artist devotes most of her time to composing, playing the piano, playing the organ and fashion design. It is no coincidence that she has been a private student since the 4th grade. But she admits that this does not cause her any problems, because she is an excellent student anyway.
At the age of 13, Laura had already completed her first studio work and, with the support of the Kőbánya Municipality, released her first album titled “Fly Free”, which contains 12 of her own piano works. The music producer of Laura’s debut album was Lázár Lobó-Szalóky, a Pro Arte award-winning musician.
In addition to numerous domestic performances, Laura has also had several foreign performances. On July 30, 2023, Laura Vitéz performed at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, where she also received the winner's prize of the "Salzburg 2023" Grand Prize Virtuoso international competition as a composer. Laura was also awarded the winner's prize of the "Bonn 2023 Grand Prize Virtuoso" international competition, as well as first place at the Golden Classical Music Awards (New York) 2023 International Competition. Thanks to these awards, she was invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York and Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles in 2025-26.
She received the Hungarian Record Title as a young composer on December 19, 2023. On March 26, 2024, Laura was awarded the "Best Musicians in the World" award as an emerging young composer in Warsaw.
One of Laura's big dreams came true at Easter 2024. She took to the stage in the Gläserner Saal of the Musikverein in Vienna, performing her own works in a dress she designed herself. This is how she is starting to spread her wings as a fashion designer. After the concert, she received the award for the winner of the 2024 "Grand Prize Virtuoso Vienna". On April 12, 2025, the Order of the Roman Eagle knighted the young talent based on her merits.
Laura has been very purposeful, diligent and persistent since she was a child. It is no coincidence that she has very definite ideas about her near future. In addition to her professional development, her second piano album "Csoda" was released in the spring of 2025, and she also wants to release an album of her organ works in 2025. Her later plans include shooting a video clip and a short film. In the future, as a young composer, she would like to enter the film music field, as her big dream is to win the award for best original film score. In addition to composing music, she also wants to expand her fashion design skills in the future.
Laura's motto: "I want to bring as much joy to people as possible with my music and create something lasting so that posterity will be proud of me."

Fly free
In the fall of 2023, with the support of the Kőbánya Municipality and the Tiszta Formák Foundation, my first album, Fly Free, was released, the music producer of which was Lázár Lobó-Szalóky, a Pro-Arte award-winning musician. The album contains 12 of my own piano works, which I composed when I was 11-12 years old. It was a fantastic experience for me to be able to work in a professional studio at the age of 13 with such excellent musicians as Lázár Lobó-Szalóky, Bebi Ferenczi, and Dániel Vikukel.
Miracle
It is a great pleasure for me that my second piano album "Csoda" was released on April 11, 2025.

Spirit
My first album of organ works will be released in the spring of 2025.

Young composer Laura Vitéz is a fascinating example of what can be achieved with passion and perseverance. Laura is barely 15 years old, yet she has already released her second piano album. The title of the new album, “Csoda”, could not be more apt, as we truly find a miracle in each composition, which is a selection of works written over the past five years. The young artist is not only talented, but also inspiring. Laura began her career as a composer five years ago and has already composed a record number of nearly 40 piano works and several organ works, as well as winning more than 50 international competitions. With her performance, Laura has risen to the rank of one of the youngest Hungarian composers with such a diverse and rich creative output. The “Csoda” album is a perfect example of the commitment and dedication that characterizes Laura’s work. It is no wonder that she is considered a Hungarian record holder. However, the album does not only celebrate milestones, but also presents the personal journey of the young composer talent – the path on which she shapes feelings into notes and tells stories in the universal language of music. Laura is already looking forward to the next challenge: working on an album containing organ works, thereby broadening her artistic horizons. The young talent is following an impressive development path and will certainly continue to surprise the music world. Let us celebrate this special moment with her, when through “Csoda” we can all be part of the path that Laura Vitéz is taking with her passion and dedication. And if she has achieved so much at such a young age, what else will she be capable of in the future? One thing is certain: her story inspires us to never give up on our dreams.
